RULES OF USE AND CONDUCT FOR SUBSCRIBERS OF THE IMOBINTEL (TM) VIRTUAL MEETING POINT PLATFORM (MPI)

 

​The “Meeting Point IMOBINTELTM” (MPI) is a virtual platform, developed by our team, with the main objective of facilitating real estate investments for customers and subscribers of the IMOBINTEL (TM) website

 

IMOBINTEL (TM) does not act as an intermediary for businesses and/or partnerships between subscribers, although these businesses may have been originated by consulting/using the information made available on our platform.

 

IMOBINTEL (TM) does not have commission activities and is not a real estate agency. We provide consultancy services to professionals/companies in the real estate sector, directly or indirectly, when requested for this purpose (see our service offering).

 

By signing up as a user/subscriber to our platform, you will have access to information about our services. If you are no longer interested in this information, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

 

MPI Platform Objectives:

 

• Collect and systematize data on properties available for transaction, in order to make potential investors aware of which properties are available on the market for real estate investment (land for construction, buildings for rehabilitation, adaptation of properties for income, etc.).

• Collect and systematize data on entities that facilitate the real estate investment process (such as financing entities, or others within the real estate investment spectrum, investment joint ventures, exchanges, etc.)

 

The use of this platform, although free, is subject to rules of conduct and use. It is the obligation of all users registered on the website to know and respect them. They are mandatory reading when creating the record, and are permanently available for consultation if necessary.

 

Please note that the use of MPI is dependent on full acceptance of these conditions, meaning that anyone who does not agree with them will not be able to use the platform.

 

Any and all users who carry out actions that go against these rules or instructions from our team may be permanently suspended.

 

​Terms of use and rules of conduct:

 

• User registration. The use of the MPI platform is subject to registration and prior access authorization, given by the IMOBINTELTM team, and/or a management entity designated by it. It will be solely and exclusively the management criteria of the MPI platform that decide who can access it.

• IMOBINTEL (TM) services. When registering as an MPI user, you will have access to information about IMOBINTELTM brand services. If you are no longer interested in this information, you can unsubscribe at any time.

• Information about properties and business partners. IMOBINTELTM does not have access to the advertised properties, nor does it check the quality of the partnerships proposed on the platform. As such, we do not guarantee the quality, security or legality of the information, nor its veracity or accuracy. Neither can we assure users of the ability of sellers to sell properties/projects/services or the ability of buyers to acquire them, nor can we guarantee that buyers and sellers complete transactions or are able to establish any partnership between themselves.

• Transactions between platform subscribers. IMOBINTEL (TM) is not involved or participates in the actual transaction between buyer and seller. However, although we do not have direct intervention in transactions, we do not agree with any action taken by users that demonstrates bad faith or fraudulent intent.

• Ownership of the information entered. Once the information is entered into the MPI, it will automatically become the property of IMOBINTELTM. Its content may be modified and/or removed from the platform without any prior notice to the user/creator of its registration.

• Change to information introduced by subscribers. Once information has been entered into the MPI, it can only be removed or changed by the IMOBINTELTM team. If they wish, users/subscribers must request its change or removal via the following contact (info@imobintel.pt).

• Contact and exchange of information between platform subscribers. IMOBINTEL(TM) is independent and does not absolutely control any interaction between subscribers of the platform. However, if misconduct comes to our attention, we will act accordingly. Examples of misconduct:

1. Sending, through the website's internal messaging system, advertising messages not related to the business as well as messages of a violent, provocative, offensive, racist nature or likely to violate the privacy or rights of third parties;

2. Violation of intellectual property rights and image rights, namely the publication of films, photographs or texts that are not the property of the user and/or without the express authorization of their owner;

3. Phishing attempts, that is, the intention to acquire confidential information, such as passwords, credit card numbers and other personal or business data;

4. Messages that contain software viruses, computer code, files or programs, capable of interrupting, destroying or limiting the functionality of any computer or computer system.

5. Messages placed through the personification of someone or entity other than oneself, or through the use of means intended to lead one to believe that the messages are from another person;

6. Not showing interest in clarifying issues related to the advertisement placed, not responding to questions from interested investors and potential business partners;

7. Replacement of the advertisement after being notified of this situation by our team;

8. Replacement of listings that do not respect the listing rules (out of category, repeated, with contact details, false prices) after having been notified of this situation by our team;

9. Direct disrespect for any instructions from our team.

10. Violation of any Law, Regulation or Directive of national or European law relating to the use, whether deliberately or not, of the platform.
